General Setup

The General Setup option holds some of the most basic master of the application which is used in the entire system from company creation to payslip. Master including in General set-up are

  • Country
  • Province
  • City
  • Location
  • Ethnicity
  • Tribe
  • Language
  • Religion
  • Marital Status
  • Nationality

Country Master :

Use Country Master to enter country records. A country record includes the country name and other country - specific settings. If your company employee(s) does have citizen-ship or having born in other countries, define country-specific information in country master. The country record is optional if company employee(s) are belongs to one country. Countries and their corresponding data are automatically created and listed in this window once Company creation is completed.

Option Name and Description

  • Country Code : Mandatory and Unique field. System is having mechanism to generated auto (for more detail how to system generated auto no refer Master Creation) as well as user can enter desired value for country code. Value can be acceptable as numeric, alpha numeric with prefix and suffix.
  • Country Name : Name of the country. It is a mandatory field, could not accept blank & duplicate value.
  • Calling Code : Country ISD codes are worldwide used codes for the representation of the countries.
  • Description : A option for store any other information, remarks & description.

Province Master :

A province is a nation or territory considered as an organized political community under one government. This feature allows you store province related record in system.

  • Province Code : Mandatory and Unique field. system is having mechanism to generated auto as well as user can enter desired value for province code. Value can be acceptable as numeric, alpha numeric with prefix and suffix.
  • Country : List of countries exist in system.
  • Province Name : Name of the province. It is a mandatory field, could not accept blank & duplicate value.
  • Description : A option for store any other information, remarks & description.

City Master :

This is where you set up the city specifics record for the system.

  • City Code : Mandatory and Unique field. system is having mechanism to generated auto as well as user can enter desired value for province code. Value can be acceptable as numeric, alpha numeric with prefix and suffix.
  • Country : List of countries exist in system.
  • Province : List of province exist in system.
  • City Name : Name of the city. It is a mandatory field, could not accept blank & duplicate value.
  • Description : A option for store any other information, remarks & description.

Location Master :

Location in master data records for business locations. By creating business location master data, you can represent a physical location at which your company has a particular business interest.

Use Location Master to enter Location records. A Location record includes the location name, location short name, location address and other location - specific settings.

  • Location Code : Mandatory and Unique field. system is having mechanism to generated auto as well as user can enter desired value for location code. Value can be acceptable as numeric, alpha numeric with prefix and suffix.
  • Location Short Name : Short name of location. Mandatory & unique value field, could not accept blank value either.
  • Location Name : Full Name of location. Mandatory & unique value field,could not accept blank value.
  • Max. No. of Employees : Name of the city. It is a mandatory field,could not accept blank & duplicate value.
  • Description : A option for store any other information, remarks,description of the city.
  • Location Address : Postal address of location.
  • Country : List of countries exist in system.
  • Province : List of province exist in system.
  • City : List of cities exist in system.
  • P.O.Box : Post box number of city.
  • Telephone : Telephone no of location.
  • Fax : Fax no of location.

Ethnicity Master :

An Ethnic group or ethnicity is a category of people who identify with each other based on common ancestral, social, cultural or national experience. Use ethnic master to enter ethnicity records. A ethnicity record includes the ethnicity name & description.

  • Ethnicity Name : Name of the ethnicity. It is a mandatory field, could not accept blank & duplicate value.

Tribe Master :

A Tribe is viewed, historically or developmentally, as a social group existing before the development of, or outside of, states. A tribe is a distinct people, dependent on their land for their livelihood, who are largely self-sufficient, and not integrated into the national society. Use Tribe master to enter tribe records. A tribe record includes the tribe name & description.

Language Master :

Use Language master to enter language records. A language record includes the language name & description. The Language master is use as a mother tongue option in Employee Detail form.

Marital status indicates whether the person is married, single, divorced, widow or widower. Use Marital Status master to enter marital status records. A Marital status record includes the Marital status & description.
